1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email, profile photo, traveler preferences (dietary needs, allergies, mobility), trip plans, uploaded documents (tickets, receipts), and payment details processed by Stripe. We also collect basic device and usage data to operate the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
To plan and personalize your trips, generate itineraries, sync with collaborators you invite, process subscriptions, send service notifications, and improve the product. Dietary and accessibility data is used solely to surface matching recommendations.
3. Sharing
Trip data is visible only to members you invite. We share data with sub-processors strictly to run the service: Supabase (database and auth), Stripe (payments), OpenAI / Google (AI itinerary generation), and Google Maps (places). We do not sell personal data.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete trips and your account at any time from settings. On account deletion we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.
5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data, and object to processing. Email support@aitripmate.world and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Database access is gated by Row-Level Security so each user only sees their own trips and those they were invited to. Uploaded documents live in private storage buckets.
